1. When is this event taking place? 

The AI Exchange will take place Monday, August 17 to Tuesday, August 18, 2026. For specific start and end times, please refer to the schedule.

2. Where is the venue?

The AI Exchange will take place in two buildings located at the Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU).

3. How do I get to the venue?

Every day begins at the welcome/check-in desk on the first floor of the George Vari Engineering and Computing Centre, ENG - Toronto Metropolitan University (245 Church St, Toronto, ON M5B 2R2). Below you can find information depending on your travel method:

Participants commuting

The closest TTC station is TMU Station. From there, it is approximately a 10-minute walk to the George Vari Engineering and Computing Centre (245 Church St.).


Participants joining from Chelsea Hotel
The venue is approximately a 10-minute walk from Chelsea Hotel. For the exact route, enter George Vari Engineering and Computing Centre (245 Church St.) into your preferred navigation app.


Participants driving
  • Several paid parking lots are available near the venue, offering both hourly and daily rates. More information is available on https://www.torontomu.ca/parking/public-parking/ 
  • Due to the downtown location, parking near the venue may be limited and traffic can be heavy. If convenient, we recommend parking at a TTC station and taking transit to TMU Station.

4. Is this event open to the public? 

This is an invitation-only event with limited capacity. If your availability changes, please let us know at [email protected] as soon as possible so we can offer the opportunity to another invited participant and update our planning accordingly.

5. What is included with my registration?

Registration includes two full days of professional learning featuring keynote speakers, panels, and workshops with speakers from Google, Harvard, Actua, MIT, University of Toronto, Toronto Metropolitan University and more! 

Breakfast, lunch, refreshments, and an event swag bag are also included on both days.

6. Where can I find the schedule?

The schedule is available on this platform under the Schedule tab. This will always contain the most up-to-date information, including session times, speakers, and locations.

7. Can I request accessibility or dietary accommadations? 

Yes. Accommodation requests were collected during registration. If your accommodation needs have changed or you require additional support, please email [email protected] as early as possible so our planning team can make the appropriate arrangements.
