About me
Alex is a member of the Engineering Outreach team at Ontario Tech University, specializing in working with teachers to support the development of engaging STEM activities. He started off his career in the engineering field, getting a degree in mechanical engineering and began working on a graduate degree. It was here that he rediscovered his passion for education and helping others feel confident in a STEM environment, so he pivoted away from the engineering side of things and went through teacher training programs, making him a certified teacher as well as an engineer. Alex is always looking for opportunities to bring these two sides of his life together, and show that science, technology, engineering and math are powerful tools we can use throughout our lives - not just in the classroom.
